About Direct coronal brow lift Surgery via Local Anaesthetic

With increasing age, the skin loses its suppleness and begins to sag. The first area of our face to show signs of ageing is usually the forehead and brow area, resulting in cumbersome,
sunken brows. You can opt for brow lift surgery in Liverpool if you have low, drooping eyebrows or brow asymmetry. A brow lift, or forehead lift surgery, is a surgical procedure via local anaesthetic, that is intended to even the area from the eyebrows to the hairline. Get in touch with our team of world-class cosmetic surgeons, who are happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

Brow lift Surgery via local anaesthetic.

At our luxurious premises homed in the prestigious Royal Liver Building, we start by repositioning the soft tissue and forehead skin; the lift rejuvenates the forehead, brow, and eye area. Brow lift surgery via local anaesthetic can be fulfilled as a standalone procedure or in consolidation with other facial procedures such as eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) or a facelift. All procedures at Cosmetic Surgery of The Royal Liver Building are performed under Local Anaesthetic in our state-of-the-art Surgical suites.

Our Brow Lift Surgery Journey

We perform all procedures in our new state-of-the-art suites in the Royal Liver Building, one of the most desirable cosmetic surgery clinics for brow lift surgery in the northwest.

All procedures are carried out exclusively via local anaesthesia, where our patients enjoy the benefits, including that it’s less scary, physically demanding, expensive and potentially yielding better aesthetic results.

Performing a brow lift via local anaesthesia can mean the difference between Surgery and no surgery for some patients.

Characteristics for Brow Lift Surgery via Local Anaesthetic

Forehead and Frown Lines

For some of us, there comes a time when we will look in the mirror and notice the presence of forehead lines and frown lines. Even though these frown lines are a natural part of the ageing process, they often are not well received by us.

Frown lines and forehead wrinkles are primarily age-related. As we age, our skin loses its suppleness and elasticity and cannot return to its original shape and positioning. All that frowning, worry and concern are shown on our faces.

Heavy Upper Eyelids

Heavy upper eyelids can affect anyone at any age. While usually heavy or droopy eyelids can be accepted as an inevitable part of the ageing system, some people can begin to experience heavy upper eyelids in their early twenties.

Heavy upper eyelids can have a negative impact on the entire face and give a false impression of how old a person is, which can also affect the person’s overall well-being. Besides the cosmetic ramifications of heavy eyelids, excess skin on the upper eyelids may lead to vision problems and reduced vision.

Faqs Brow Lift Surgery

An eyebrow lift, or forehead lift surgery via local anaesthetic, is a surgical operation planned to level and smooth the forehead area.

At Cosmetic Surgery of The Royal Liver Building, we reposition the soft tissue and skin of the brow and forehead. The brow lift improves the appearance of low, weighty brows by invigorating the forehead, brow, and eye area. Brow lift surgery can be performed as a standalone procedure or in combination with other facial procedures such as a facelift or blepharoplasty.

Brow lifting techniques vary depending on your concerns and what results you may desire. The superior process our Surgeon chooses will establish the location of the incisions and, ultimately, the resulting scars. The techniques we use at Cosmetic Surgery of The Royal Liver Building are coronal and temporal brow lifts.

During a coronal brow lift, our Surgeon makes an incision behind your hairline at the top of your head. Your forehead is raised into its new position—the scalp in front of the incision overlapping the scalp behind. The overlap is removed, and the remainder of the scalp is sewn up. This technique is not typically used on people with high or receding hairlines or fine hair or who are likely to lose it.

During a Temporal (hairline) brow lift, our Surgeon will make an incision between the top of your forehead and the start of your hairline.
Our Surgeon will remove a small amount of skin and tissue from the top of your forehead rather than your scalp to ensure your hairline is not pulled back.

Brow lift surgery provides long-term correction of facial wrinkles and creases and any sagging and drooping skin along the brow line. Surplus skin is removed, and the underlying structure is adjusted for a natural, youthful result. The results are dramatic and long-lasting.

During your eyebrow lift consultation, our Surgeon will discuss your concerns, desired improvements, options available (including no treatment), and expected outcomes of each type of brow lift procedure. Our Surgeon will examine your face and eye area, and a Nurse will take pictures for your medical records.

If Surgery is agreed upon as the most appropriate treatment for your concern, our Surgeon will discuss the preferred technique in detail with you and answer any questions you may have. If you choose to proceed, you will have a follow-up appointment before your surgery date.
Our Surgeon will perform the procedure in one of our state-of-the-art operating suites. We are situated here at the prestigious Royal Liver Building. The procedure usually lasts around 120 minutes and is entirely painless once the local anaesthetic has been administered.

In most cases, visible scarring after an eyebrow lift should be minimal. Our surgeons at Cosmetic Surgery of the Royal Liver Building are meticulous, using the most advanced surgical techniques and careful placement of the incisions to ensure optimal results with as little scarring and downtime as possible.
